The one warm coat agency in my area also accepts winter accessories such as gloves, hats, scarves, boots, ect… They need 700 coats this year! And that is just for the LOCAL area!!

Johnny, you have the biggest heart! You really get me thinking. And feeling. I was saving a huge garbage bag full of old clothing and such for a yard sale in the spring but I dug thru it and found 3 coats I can donate! NOT only that..LOL, I found 10 bucks in one of the coat pockets! Yay me! I also have to share, tomorrow my husband and I will be married 6 years! (How he’s put up with me this long, I don’t understand!) Miracles do happen! Coats, money, anniversaries! NEW FRIENDS. ;D

Yea I find it rewarding. I have alot less clutter and more space and I am helping others. Sometimes it’s hard to get rid of things but I think how I haven’t even used it and I picture someone else enjoying it and I realize it’s better off!

This is so typical …
always thinking of others, such a loving soul.I love the colours too very Christmassy…Unfortunately I only have one coat…I am of the rare female breed that doesn’t own clothes I don’t actually wear LOL but you have at least made me realise once again that there’s always someone worse off than me. Maybe there is some other way I can help this Christmas

Oh wow what a coincedence for me that you posted this. Yesterday and the day before I spent hours going thru old clothes that my husband and I don’t wear anymore and I donated like 3 huge “trash” bags filled of clothes,jackets,and even some old toys too
