where to donate used clothes? Do you pick up donations from home?

Two of the best places are the Salvation Army or the Good Will. They have stores in just about any town in the country and they DO come out to your house to pick things up.
Any type of thrift store would also likely come and pick things up. I just like using the Salvation Army and Goodwill because I know the money they raise go to good causes.

Hi,
You might also consider donating clothes to battered women’s homes. I know the need is great. I am not sure how to go about doing that but what I would do is call the Fire Dept., Police, Children’s Services for whatever county you are in.
Good Luck, You are doing a great thing.

go to a good will store or thrift shop…or even the salvation army…if you have childrens clothes you can get in contact with your local schools to see if they have any families that are needed
