Are clothing donations being accepted to Haiti?

It is breaking my heart watching the situation in Haiti, and I am desperate to help. Unfortunately, my family is going through an incredibly difficult financial time and donating any amount of money is near impossible. I do, however, have piles upon piles of clothes that we no longer wear (have outgrown, mostly) and I was wondering if there is any credible organization currently accepting donations of clothes. I know money is preferable, but this is all we can really do right now. Thanks so much and bless you all.
I would ask your church or The Salvation Army.Perhaps these two groups can tell you where to give.

Have a local sale to get rid of your piles of clothes and send that money to a reputable relief organization (there is a good list of them at: http://www.interaction.org/crisis-list/earthquake-haiti )
There are credible organizations in most communities like The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries that receive clothing donations to distribute locally, but none of them can afford to ship stuff like that halfway around the world.
Good luck. . . you’re heart is in the right place–I bet you’ll be surprised at how much you can earn with a sale!
